AUREAL CONCEPTION
At the approach of dawn on the twenty-sixth of May
Unexpected joy greeted our way
Rani was born so charming and a treat
Eager faces find her so sweet
As contentment is the greatest jewel
Let it be said of our little Aureal.
Considering that we hardly landed from Cochin
Our sweet Rani appeared on the scene
Now all that may be said and done
Certainly she waited for her son
Ever so happy and gay
Prayers for her health every day
To us, she will be always dear
In our hearts, a constant cheer.
On my journey’s, I was longing to see
Now I am merry as can be.
